There comes a point in every pet's life that they will need surgery.  At JFPH, we are equipped to handle most routine and emergency surgical cases.  We treat all surgeries in an individual, professional way.  Each surgery is different because every patient is different. 
Here are the general steps to the preparation and completion of most surgeries:
  • pre-anesthetic blood work and exam (included with each surgery)
  • administering IV (included with each surgery)
  • sedative
  • intubation and site preparation
  • anesthesia
  • monitoring
  • procedure
  • closure
  • postoperative monitoring
  • postoperative pain medication and antibiotics, if needed
