Notes from some of our clients:
Please pass along a HUGE thank you to Dr. Guntharp. A few nights ago we called at 10:15pm because our little dog got into an ant trap! We were in a panic. He was so kind and caring. Took the time to check his references at home and assured us that she would be ok. Just can't say enough good things about Jonesboro Family pet doctors and staff. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN AND COMPASSION FOR OUR LITTLE DOG.

I wanted to THANK Dr. Guntharp and John for their compassion and love they gave to my wonderful 11 year old foxy terrier and tell them how much I appreciate them for taking care of my precious Frazer on a Sunday afternoon when he became so ill. Dr. Guntharp helped me make a tough decision to let him close his eyes and go to sleep. I was able to hold Frazer in my arms as he passed away and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I truly believe he is with all my other pets and with God now. I also want to THANK the wonderful young lady who brought his ashes to me in the precious box with his name on it. Those will be sprinkled with my other pets' ashes and with mine in the ocean when that day comes. Baxter is my 8 year old fox terrier who will continue to come for his check ups and be part of your wonderful family. He and I miss Frazer and still tear up but we can now laugh and remember all the wonderful and loving times we all shared. I can never tell you how much it means to me to have you and your staff taking care of my pets. Your card meant so much to me as well. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Over the years the doctors at Jonesboro Family pet hospital has provided exceptional care for our pets.
To sum up in one story the patience and care they show:
Last night at 10:15 on New Year's Eve I noticed the incision from tumor removal surgery my cat received on Thursday had opened (likely from moving too much or her biting it. There was a 1.5 inch opening on her belly. We called and were promptly assisted by the technician (I think her name is Meagan) and then directed to Dr. Barnes.
Dr. Barnes had us come in as soon as possible, and met us at the vet on her New Year's Eve. We were greeted kindly and not as if we were messing up their plans for the night, and offered a drink as they usually do when you walk in the door. Within 20 min of even noticing the wound, we were in with the doctor and she was making a plan of action for our old and decrepit, but very much loved feline.
We are so thankful for the love and dedication each technician and doctor provides at JFPH!

We took our young African Grey to Dr. Erin Culpepper, avian vet at Jonesboro Family Pet Hospital. She gave our bird a complete health check up and was helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and took her time to explain things. We were a walk-in, no appointment, so I was very impressed. Her staff was friendly and seemed really taken with our feathered kid! I won't hesitate to recommend Dr. Erin and staff to bird owner friends. - Barbara Smock, January 2017
This is Bo Noble. He will be 3 years old in May of this year and has been seeing Dr. Guntharp and the staff at JFPH since we got him at 8 weeks old. He loves going golfing with his Dad, going to the lake, howling, his sister Lucy, and staying with his Nanny. He loves coming to see everyone at JFPH and always jumps up on the counter during check in and check out so he can try and charm the sweet girls behind the desk (which always results in him getting loved on). He greets every dog in the waiting room, however being a redbone coonhound, he isn't too fond of the cats! Once he gets in the room he always tries to steal treats from the counter, and has since he was big enough to get up there. Bo has such a sweet spirit and is such a big part of our family. He loves all the staff and is always greeted with lots of love. Bo has never had anything but wonderful experiences at JFPH. It is so comforting to know that the staff cares about the health and happiness of our fur baby Bo! We love JFPH!
Thank you for all you do for our fur babies-

This is Lucy Noble. She just turned 5 years old in January and has been seeing Dr. Guntharp and the staff at JFPH since she was 7 weeks old. She is our little princess! She loves coming to see the staff and always gets lots of attention. Her favorite things are snuggling with her mom and dad, bossing around her brother Bo, and playing with tennis balls. The staff at JFPH has always taken the best care of Lucy and her brother Bo. JFPH is so much more than just our family's vet, they are our family!

I just wanted to brag on your facility. I moved to Virginia in December and have truly missed the care that my baby, Paris, received from y'all.
I called you today because Paris is having a health issue and my area vet has been helpful but reluctant to give me the answers I need. After leaving my info with the very sweet receptionist,... Dr. Rodgers called me back less than thirty minutes later. He had taken the time to look at Paris's chart and info from our last visit. He was so kind, assuring, and helpful. He gave me direct answers, and I felt so much better about her situation after speaking with him.
Even though we live 900 miles away, Jonesboro Family Pet Hospital has continued to help us. God bless you as you continue care for His animals!
